New participants for 2019/2020

New bronze participants need to hand in their registration forms with payment by the 4th October. Please hand them in by posting them through our door or email us the form. If you couldn't pick up a form from us just download the form below.

The cost of registration is £30 for Bronze and Silver and £35 for Gold. Details of how to pay are on the Information Letter below.

We are holding a Parent's evening at Huntingdon House for new participants on the 10th October. There will be two time slots, one at 6pm and one at 7pm. Please attend at either time that suits you.

Volunteer Bureau

Brecon Volunteer Bureau will be open until 5pm on a Tuesday as from the 1st June if you want to call in about volunteering opportunities.  The lady there is called Francesca.

Our philosophy

Huntingdon House is a Community Interest Company which is based in Brecon.  We believe that the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme should be open to everyone.  Therefore we will welcome anyone who wants to register at our centre to do their award.  We provide support and help where we can, especially to those who may find doing their Award financially challenging.

All of our leaders are volunteers and give up their time freely to support the young people with their expeditions and other sections of the award.  We therefore keep our costs to a minimum and do not make a profit.
